New Photos and Baseball in the Park
Just an FYI, we put up an new slideshow for the first part of June on the photos page.
We are doing fine heading into our last week. The pace has really picked up because a supporting church is here to visit the team for the next ten days. I got to preach my second sermon last Sunday, and by the grace of God avoided heresy and kept everyone awake.
The past two days I've had a chance to take Dave(our team leader)'s two youngest sons out to the park and play baseball with them. (They really love the Baseball (especially the Brewers), but they didn't have a bat of their own to play with. Amazingly, we located a sports store with pretty decent supply of baseball equipment and bought them a bat and some extra baseballs last weekend). It is about 100 degrees here on any given day, and during the scorching midday heat we have the whole park to ourselves. Melissa came with us today and hit a couple of nice liners into right field. They were nothing compared to my inside the park homers though.
Melissa gave a pet care seminar this evening and she is exhausted, but she promises that she is going to post soon and give some background for all the photos we just put up.
