I don't think this has been announced on the Blog yet, so if you in case you have not heard; Melissa is pregnant. Our first doctors appointment is Friday, and we are waiting anxiously to hear what the Doctor has to say.
This past Sunday was our fall kick off, and things went off without a hitch. We have a new worship leader who did an excellent job, the podcast was recorded at a relatively high quality, and we managed have everything set up in plenty of time before the service.
I still need your prayers so that I can finish raising our support. Now that our church is up and running there are a lot of weekly responsibilities that take up my time. In fact, i wish they could take up all my time, but I still have about $15,000 to raise. We are praying to finish it this week, of course, that means miracles will have to happen, so pray hard.
As for the title of this post, it is a play on Dorchester's favorite movie "Gone Baby Gone." The movie takes place in our neighborhood and some surrounding areas, and it shows the grittier side of life in Dot. The intro (linked below) is great, but if you want to watch the whole movie let me warn you it has a lot of language and some content that is hard to watch.
