Sneaky Snow
I thought we were done with snow for sure. Yesterday it was 60 and sunny outside, Melissa and I went for a walk around the neighborhood, and during church the back of my neck had that warm itchy feeling you get after being out in the sun for the first time in a while. Last night we even went to bed with the windows open. Around 4am I woke up to the breeze knocking the blinds against the wall, it was chilly so I shut the window. Its 9:30 and we have a couple inches of snow. I am shocked. Not that it is snowing in March, that's normal, just not today. I had planned to run in 70 degree weather today and now I am thinking about when I should go out to shovel.
During clean up after the service yesterday, some of the guys from the music team were wrapping up cords. One of them unplugged a cord from the base of our sound system and then pulled it to find the other end. Unfortunately, that end was plugged into my computer where it had been recording the sermon on one of the shelves in the school library where our church meets. The computer survived the 4 foot fall for the most part - meaning most of the parts excluding the screen. So, I am off to plead my case at the apple store. I need a new screen and a new casing for the bottom half. If anyone has any inside connections please send them along.
